Default d15z1 with a d16y8 with boost

so i need another motor for my car because mine overheated and the guage never moved and this motor is kinda fuxed..

my spare motor is a d15z1.. i did the compression calculator it comes up to 8.04:1 with the d16y8 head and oem 3 layer hg

is that too low compression for this setup?? i know it has the d16 rod length.. but are the rods as strong as the d16's?

just need something for now until i build my other shortblock thats torn apart... thanks.. also how much psi should this setup hold?? right now im using a z6 with a y8 head shaved 20 with an a6 .048 headgasket at 12 psi tuned

thanks
