Knock Sensor Connector
While pulling off my cylinder head on my 1998 base Prelude I ended up accidently yanking on the Intake Manifold while the knock sensor was still connected and well I ripped the wire from the connector. I don't have enough wire on the back of the connector to be able to solder it to the harness.
Anyone have any idea how I can get myself out of this mess and not end up buying a new wiring harness? Anyone sell the knock sensor alone on it's own?
Thanks,

Take the plug off of the knock sensor and you can actually remove the pin and the seal from it with a precision screwdriver set. Just replace it with one that has a longer wire attached (surely you have some old plugs lying around
). If not just go to junkyard and yank a plug off of a car there.

Percision screwdriver set? how are they different from regular screw drivers?
Also I thought about that but the problem is that the area I live in the closest junk yard is about 2-3 hours away....You think someone on here might have some that don't mind getting rid of?
Oh and also, the pin and seal, does it have to be from another knock sensor connector or could it be from any connector?
Thank you.

Precision screwdriver sets come with little teeny-tiny screwdrivers. You need a very small one to do the pins.
I have a TON of harnesses and if want to IM me your address or something I can mail one to you.
It can be from almost any other Honda connector...from what I've seen 90% of them are the same. Some might be longer or shorter, but I can't think of anything that stands out.

Hey Hawkze_2.3 thanks for the connectors. They came in last week.
I pulled one prong out of one of the connectors you sent me and I pulled the only connector out of the knock sensor connector.
Both prongs look almost identical except the prong out of the knock sensor connector is boxed while the other prong has a crease on it....would that effect anything?
Here is a picture.
The top one is the prong out of the extra connector and the bottom is the one from the knock sensor connector.

No problem, I was wondering if you got that envelope or not.
I think you would be fine with that pin...looks to be the same length and width and everything.

Once again thanks alot dude. You and member ludesleep really helped me out. He sent me a set of good condition valves and along your connectors really made my project alot easier...and saved me money
I grabbed a small miror and looked to see if the metal prong from one of your connectors would sit on the knock sensor correctly and sure enough it was perfect. So re-connect the connector to the harness and everything is good to go.
