Need some turbo advice?
Alright, long story short, i bought my car turbo' d 2 years ago, and frankley i went through hell with it, blew it up twice, all kinds of trouble. I bought a jdm h22, and took the turbo off, sold the kit on ebay and havnt looked back. Since its now cold outside and Im bord i started cleaning out my garage and uncovered my built turbo motor, its a sleeved h22a4 with crower rods, wiseco pistons and a bunch of other nice goodies. The motor itself needs some work and i plan on doing things right, new pistons line bore, balance the whole rotating assembly ect... I have a budget of about 6-7g's and all winter to complete the project. I have a daily driver and it doesnt matter if the prelude is running or not so i would like to get started asap. Im looking for a nice T4 turbo and ramhorn manifold, im shooting for the 500hp range but could live with 450. I also want a set of 10:1 89mm forged pistons for an h22 but cant seem to locate any, so anyone kno where i can get any? Ive had plenty of experience with the ups and downs of a turbo so i dont need a big speech abt reliability and cost i kno what im getting into just looking into some suggestions on were to get parts so any help would be appreciated-

Hmm well look into CP or JE pistons if the block is already sleeved and has rods and pistons why do you need new pistons? what's the block sleeved to(mm)? what compression pistons do you have now? Would help if we knew a little more about your setup or what your trying to setup. What type of management will you be using? Just courious why do you want 10:1 comp?
broken ring caused it to scar up 2 cyl. walls pretty good, i talked to local performance shop and they said i could take the sleeves out to 89mm with no problems, i have an s200 setup but in reality will probably up the budget some and splurge on an AEM setup. I have a p&p head, stock cams and springs, wiseco 8.5:1 pistons, darton sleeved block(i belive they are darton) balance shafts deleted, crower rods. Im looking to make 500hp and dont care if i have to run race gas, i want a 10:1 with a big T4 turbo, so i have plenty of low end and dont have to run alot of boost to make much power, ive seen guys taking over 600hp out of a stock block type-r aside from intake and have it run reliably, so i see no reason why i cant come at least close to 500 with an h22. I just want a stupid fast street car that may see the track some, not a Daily driver, will be installing a quaife lsd, and rebuilding the tranny with some other goodies just to give you an idea of what im planing
The s200 with boost is all you need the AEM is not needed especially since you already have the S200. As far as 600 whp on stock block type R and reliable in the same sentence don't think so but that's just my opinion. 500 whp is very obtain able but 10:1 on a T4 big turbo( you didn't say what size) is going to be to much wheel spin especially on the street as u specified I would leave it @ 8.5:1 or up to 9.4:1 and call it a day you do not need higher compression to make a turbo spool faster that's all in turbo size and the tune. The quaife will help slightly but there is only so much you can do. Also high hp on low boost is not hard again its all in the tuner and the setup.
