Default some questions about y 92 cx gsr

So i just picked up my 1992 cx hatch with a gsr already installed. Its using the factory 95 gsr computer, and the gsr tranny. the Intake manifold has been swapped for a Skunk mani. The factory exhaust manifold, and a full 2" handmaid exhaust with an E.S. muffler, and a J's racing intake. The guy i got the car from had the swap done at Intec in Seattle a year and a half ago and never changed the oil.....not once. I changed it with regular Castrol 10w30 and a honda fulter after running seafoam through it and swapping in fresh plugs. Compression tested it and it put down 210-210-213-210.

Question 1. It smokes under acceleration very bad, would this primarily be rings or ive been told valve stem seals. What should i do to start looking for the cause of the smoking? Its blue smoke.

Question 2: Ive been getting 37.5 mpg around town city driving, are these normal numbers, it seems way to good to be true to me.

Valve seals only cause smoke on start up, unless they are pretty much completely gone. (While the car sits, oil leaks past the seals down into the pistons. When the car cranks, the oil burns in the piston causing the smoke.)

I figuring that by putting filling the car up completely, driving it like 80 miles and took just a hair over 2 gallons to fill it back up. Which loosely translates into 37mpg give or take. And its a usdm ex cluster so its not kph, and ive used Gps to verify that its only about 1 mph off and thats probably due to the smaller tires. The mpg is right on. Ive been driving the car for almost 275 miles and just barely to the half tank point I know it seems unbelievable but i triple checked all the basic math and im right. I just dont understand how its getting such good gas mileage.

I would do a leak down test just to be sure before tearing anything apart, but with those compression numbers I would suspect valve stem seals. Gas mileage seems a bit better than average, my B16 swapped EG hatch gets between 30 and 35 depending on how I drive it.

do a leak test, compression test and pour a quart of atf in your engine oil drive it around for a couple hundred miles and drain. the detergents will clean up your piston rings and any other crap in your engine.

i haven't officially kept track, buy my b18c gets better then expected gas milage.

Usually after a fill up i keep a track on the milage... and around 300 miles i'll fill it back and it usually takes close to or a little over 8 gallons.

Ive done that before and used seafoam. My personal experiences have given me better results with seafoam. Ive neer done a leakdown test before and honestly hae no idea how it works so i guess ill do some research and go that route.
