d4 flashing , wiring burned out
Its my first time posting anywhere, I was driving my 94 accord ex and my dash started smokin, pulled over turned it off. Gear would not shift outta park til i did the shift lock thing, brake lites on all the time, nothing on dash worked. Turned it ova and took off. Took it to a ma and pa shop. They told me wiring burned and i went to a junkyard and bought all the wiring and had them replace it. I jumped in it and started driving , i noticed d4 light flashing continuosly, shifting normal, starts up normal, i replaced the speed sensor 6 months prior to this on a different d4 lite flashing incident. the temp gauge now goes upto half where before it only went to 1/4 up. Need an Idea where to start on this d4 flashing
Do a search on how to short out your two pin diagnostic blue connector under the dash on the passenger side or by the computer or behind the radio area, just use a paper clip, short it out, turn the key on do not start and read your flashing code, git it looked at by auto zone if needed for free, try that.
