Default Running pig rich - Timing now at max advance, no ping?

I have a d15b2 with the Si MPFI swap, so it runs rich. My plugs foul up with carbon etc etc.

I've advanced timing up 10 deg (max advance), it seems smoother and I cant hear a ping unless I dont know what a ping sounds like, but she sounds normal to me.

Is 10 deg advance normal?

BTW, its about 36F and near sea level here, running 87

running really a really rich mixture retards the timing so it makes since that you can advance the timing without detination. but you shouldn't be running super rich if everything is running right.

I wired it for a d16a6 3 years ago and ran the d16a6, then blew it in the middle of nowhere and had to swap in a d15b2 block. So I dont think the TPS should be the issue, I know the TPS on the d15b2 is backwards from the one on the d16a6

I cant see why I wouldnt be running rich even if everything is right tho dude, the fuel maps are off.

All emissions related tuneups have been done, O2, cat, plugs, wires, rotor, cap, injectors bench cleaned, PCV valve, seafoam, valve adjustment, no vacuum leaks, IM cleaned out.

Only other oddity is I'm running a distro from a ZC, not sure if its SOHC or DOHC, it bolted right up and looked like the stock d16a6 one
