I have a few centimeters between the lca and the boot for the lower the ball joint. Am I ready to pry out the axle? Do I need to remove the lca first?

 

You want the hub to pull away from the LCA and axle so you can remove it. You need to press the LCA down to seperate it from the ball joint (if its been popped off already), then pull the hub off the axle. Once the axle is out of the hub, pry it from the tranny or intermediate shaft depending on which side your on.
