Im never doin a swap again without correct tools
And a lift or at least 2 good jacks again....Im Learning

 

Thatll work, i just put one in the other day although i used a type R harness (was on the car already) so i didnt have to convert anything, put the z6 intake manifold on, hooked up everything and it went.

If your converting to obd1 i would get an obd1 dist. as well. But its up to you, very easy swap.

 

i got an extra p06 if you need one

Ight today I wired up the Y7[obd2] dizzy with tha obd1 plugs.
I hear the fuel pump
I have spark
My back-up Ecu fuse was blown so i replaced it and tried to start it again...i got nothing but cranking

When i used the obd1 dizzy i heard more of a chance of starting and it was sputtering as if tha car was on because tha battery light was off as a kept the key fully on

 

what harness are you using, and are you sure you have spark???

 

Stock Ex harness and ya im sure I got spark
Any thoughts or suggestions plz let me kno

It was running perfect up until the day it when in to tha garage,then tha
motor was pulled out

few months ago and was sitting in the garage

 

ok then, turn the key on, do not start, watch CEL, it should kick on for a few seconds then go out. check that.

 

After turn tha key and listening....I think i found tha problem! The bulb for tha CEL light has been removed or blown. ...because i hear it go off after i hear tha pump and tha srs light goes off

Thatsa rite because it never went off when starting even when my Mini Me from tha 1st day i bought tha car i never saw a cel....I over looked it
