Default difference in oil pumps b series

i have heard to many debates over this.what is the real difference between a b18a/b18b pump,b16 pump,b18c1 pump and the type r pump.i have heard high volume high oil pressure and such.whatis the actual flow numbers.how many extra pounds of pressure.homany more quarts per hour does it push.i tried a search and found nothing.interesting note though.the type r pump is stamped p72>wtf?
