The leaks could either be from your drain tubes not being hooked up,
or water could be coming through where the taillights are.

If you take of the side interior panels, the drain tubes will be visible.

If you're blowing fuses, the ground is not the problem. In fact, you've got one too many grounds. One, of course, being at the wrong part of the circuit. Look for chafed wires or backtrack any installs or mods you did recently before this became a problem.

Thats not true perfectionist. He could have a corroded ground that has excess resistance which is causeing the heater to draw to much current. Or he could have a short to ground before the load (heater). It all depends really, but I'd say if it blows after running a little and not immediatly when you turn it on then you probably have a bad ground with corrosion increasing the overall resistance of the circuit. Or like perfectionist also mentioned, a chaffed wire that sometimes shorts to ground when its moved a certian way. Check the ground first before you have to start tracing wires all the way back to the power source.

EDIT: Oops, got OHMs law mixed up. Forget the whole idea about corrosion that would cause low amps not high amps. Start looking for the broken/chafed wire. Sorry perfecionist, looks like your name isn't far off.
