aem cai vs. injen race division cai?
I'm looking to replace my current short ram intake to a cold air... I have heard good things about AEM CAI but the dyno tests from Injen show greater power gains consistently with the Race Division CAI... anyone had experience with either/both of these intakes??
Well both Injen and AEM claim that they make the most horse power. I know Injen claims that their intakes makes like 1-3 more horse power than the AEM, and I've heard numerous times from ppl that they see dyno sheets from AEM that claims they make the most horse power. However, in my opinion, the AEM is cheaper than the Injen by quite a bit, a least where I'm from. So I would say, even if Injen did make more horse power, I don't think it's worth the extra $150CDN for the injen. Just my 2 cents.
Comptech Icebox
But it's like 300.
But it's like 300.
using integra box with an HKS pflow filter,
and fed tubing into bumper. i know its ghetto,
but hey, i don't see that much of a diff between
that and a comptech design besides differnt filters?
i took my car in, 00 eclipse GT..they suggest d a AEM CAI..i told them i already had a K&N drop in filter and didnt see the need to drop over $200 just to look good with very little minimal gain in performance..ull notice the dyno charts..there is very little change in performance..u can get the same results using the drop in..and it ll look alot cleaner and sound alot quieter...any company can manipulate dyno results to reflect a desired result..
