STIFFIES in the Back????
I have a '99 Civic hatch, and have a JDM B18C motor on it's way. When I swap it in, I figure the front will a little heavier than it is right now. My question is ... I have adjustable coilovers to replace my reg. springs; Should I put the heaver springs rates in the front or in the rear? I have seen people do it both ways... I'm just not sure what will work the best for me. I heard that the Realtime integra uses like EXTREMELY heavy rates in the rear and softer in the front... is this to help the car 'lean' into the corner more?
Give me some input
Thanks

Stiff in the rear is to make the car rotate easier. It is a stupid and dangerous idea on a street car. If you are looking for a more nuetral feel then I would suggest a slighly larger rear swaybar in the rear and a stock one up front.

Yes, stiffer in the rear will help the car oversteer. You also want to make sure you have a stiff enough spring rate up front to keep the front from bottoming out. I would run about 350-500lbs up front and 300-550 rear depending on your driving style. Make sure you have good shocks, don't use factory!!
