intake in place of intercooler-connecting pipes
why does a cold air intake replace the pipes connecting the intercooler to the intake manifold? im not sure if this is even correct i just read on some site that a cold air intake can replace the pipes going from the intercooler to the intake manofild and was wondering why the intake replaces them because it doesn connect to the intercooler.

thats where it says that if u have a cold air intake you dont need the extra piping connecting the intake manifold to the intercooler.

He's just saying you can use your CAI piping as charge piping. Since you already have a pipe that goes down front anyway, just connect it to the FMIC instead of an air filter.
why not just sell you CIA and make your own IC piping? or hell take your car to a muffler show and have them do it much easier

if you know what you're doing you can piece together a kit with the stuff YOU want. but in your case i would just get a kit.
