hey where is the best spot to ground my amp on my 97 accord Sedan

 

Bare metal as close to the amp as possible.

 

i used one of the screws on my strut in the trunk to ground my amp

 

I'm using the ground bolt that's next to the fuel pump.

 

This depends on where your amp is. The best thing to do is find bare metal, hit it with some sand paper until theres no paint or primer, and sink a self tapping screw into it. I have my two channel amp mounted nicely under the driver seat and its grounded next to the seat rails. For something drawing this much power I suggest building your own ground and not using any old bolt.

What did you ground it to, bare metal or a wire?

 

bare metal, took out the bolt that was holding the entire breaklight down.
