CYP sensor how to test - HELP!
DTC P1381? Is the engine running okay? Any recent work done to the car?
Did you reset the code to see if it came back right away?
More info can mean more help.
Try replacing the Dist. rotor, stray voltage can freak out the pulse count. Be sure the 'spark shield' is under the rotor.
Pulse count can be read with a digital meter at the black wire/ pin 4 and the yellow wire/pin 3 at the dist plug as the engine is turned over.
Make sure the ground point under the IAT sensor on the drivers side of the intake body is clean and tight.
800-1500 ohms is normal across the sensor, with the plug unplugged
For the F23A1 or F23A4 engine, check for continuity between body ground and the distributor connector terminals No. 3 and No. 4 individually. For the F23A5 engine, check for continuity between body ground and the distributor connector terminals No. 2 and No. 4 individually.
