Check all your wiring again and make sure you get continuity from the ECU to the respective locations on the engine. Are you getting any codes? Might start there.....check for codes, I'm assuming you're running a p28 right? The ECU might tell you what's wrong with the vehicle.
Also, did you connect all the important grounds back? (like the one on the thermostat housing)
let us know, hope this helps.

Im using the CRX ecu, didnt hook up any VTEC controller yet... My cousin said that i dont need it to get it running...
I cut off the CRX dist. connecter and rewired the 92 Civic Si dist. Am i doing something wrong here??? gotta go back and check the engine code again... Dont remember if any showed...

Is there a trick to get my car started??? Cuz i just tried the dist. from a CRX Si and still no go... Here is my previous post on how my car died down https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=126367
Ok, as everyone has told you already: If you're using the CRX ECU, you need to use the CRX distributor and notch it so you can make it fit on the sohc vtec head (unless you have a d16y8 head).
Now, if you want to use the 92-95 vtec distributor, you need to run the p28 ECU where you'll have lots of fun (I know I did) converting from obd0 to obd1
Since you said you cut the plugs from the CRX dist. and put them on the VTEC dist, my bet is that when you went to put the plugs back on the CRX dist you wired something wrong. Make sure you double check everything and that you have continuity on the wires.
Are you getting fuel and spark? if you are, your problem may lie somewhere else, did you double check that the timing belt is on and aligns with all marks?

I did use a CRX dist. still wont start.. Timing belt is installed correctly... I have used 2 CRX dist. and 2 5th gen dist. already and still no go...
How did you mount the distributor? The CRX has like 28 teeth on the crank angle and the ex motor 32 teeth. You have to make sure that the tdc of both motors are the same so that the timing is on. the most likely thing is that your timing is outta whack. This swap is a tricky rig. The worst is you will never actually get the timing perfect. If you can return the motor and get a 96 and newer motor the distributor bolts right up. Also if you do this you will have a knocksensor and can buy a 1stgen b16 automatic computer. This setup hauls *** for a sohc vtec crx. Wher you stand right now its all about the timing and make sure you didnt mix up the two white wires in the distributor. This will stop it from cranking.
kimmon- yes i did... thought that was the problem...
dumbmadtech- Thanks for the tip, i will try that tomorrow night... Keep u guyz posted...

If you are really bored you can make the car OBD1 by using the 92 93 teg harness it not all together too hard. This opens you to a whole new world of tuning parts electronics wise.
Right on, I decided after talking to various people to just go newer and spend an extra couple of bucks, because it's a hell of a lot more compatable...Good luck...
