Default Car trouble... Long...

The other night i raced against this Civic on the highway... I first saw him in my rearview mirror... So i pulled over to the side and let him pass... I heard his exhaust as he came next to me... He pulled up fast and stopped dead next to me and waiting 5seconds before he floored it... I thought to myself that my car is STOCK and y would he want to race against me... But as soon as i thought of how antidisestablishmentarianismy he was, i chased his *** down... I spotted his Civic was a 6th gen EX coupe and had an exhaust, rims and lowered... Every second, i inched up to him... Once traffic came, i blew right on passed him cutting anywhere i can go... I passed up everyone and traffic was clear and i was going at 110mhp... I slowed down at 60mhp to wait up for him... 3 Minutes later he caught up and i let him pass and i got right on it again... Soon later, the next exit he got off... Now my co-worker is AFRAID to sit in my car... This happened 3nights ago...

Tonight, as i got off work i was on the highway and not long after, my car just stalled and i tried to gas it, it started struggling... I didnt bother trying to gas it so i pulled over to the side... I tried to start up the motor and no go... I thought to myself that i blew my 3rd motor... But when i think about it, i see no signs of breakdown(i.e. rod knock)... As i call and wait for the tow truck, i thought to myself that it could be the distributor... I had that happen to my 92 Civic B18C5 motor... The ignitor blew out... So right now, imma go to my rex and pull off the spark plugs and test it... What do u guyz think is the problem???

When you crank it, do you hear a strange noise, like shaking a tabacco can full of nails?

I didnt get a chance to pull off the who distributor yet... But i took a screw driver and pulled off the spark plug wires and placed the screw driver on the body of the car and the end of the wire and cranked the motor and there was spark... So my distributor is still good... I might rip apart the distributor tonight and check it out...

You might of dropped a valve.. at least take off your valve cover.
A similar thing happened to me in my 89 hb si. I'm cruisin at about 70 the day after a night of hard revving and all of a sudden my engine was struggling and all the gas in the world wouldn't help.. it would crank but not start. Turns out I had the bosch plat. +4's and on of the nodes broke off in the cylinder raising cylinder temp, destroying the valve and burning a hole through the piston. Not to mention sending pieces of broken valve through the head and into other cylinders ruining 3 of the 4 cylinder walls and pistons!

Hopefully yur not as fuct as I was!
