How do I condition a motor that has been laying around?
I have a B16a (forgot what year) thats been laying around for a looong time. Probably about 2 years maybe. Im thinking about getting it swapped back into my car. Do you guys have any tips on how to get it running in tip top shape again? Should I seafoam it or flush it out with something? Thanks for any help.
you said getting "getting the motor put back in my car"
if you are not going to be doing the swap then I would say have the installers.
do a rebuild on the bottom end since its already out. or just have them "freshen" it up. belts, hoses, oil, valve adjust.

along with what has already been mentioned you may want to have the injectors cleaned.
old gas can varnish up and clog them.
