P2T ECU OBD2b B16a into Civic 3d 1997 OBD2 sohc vtec swap
Looking for B16a in Japan to swap it intu my '97 Civic EK hatch. Get photos of B16a with P2T ECU (that's strange, becouse Si Coupe never sold in JDM) - but anyway, will b16a with OBD2b (all harness exist) fit into my Civic EK'97 with d15z6 vtec with OBD2 ?
And does anyone know the exact difference between Obd2b and obd2 ?
(checked hondata site, get nothing).

there is 2 obd2. obd-2a which is 96-98 and obd-2b which is 99-01. the p2t ecu is obd-2b cause it comes outta the 99-00 si. if you wanna put it in your car, you will need a jumper harness

had a strange news from owner of this b16 - he told me that it was a autogearbox car.
So - could it possible - use ecu from that car with mechanical gearbox?
