adding oil into cylinder..
i heard about people doing compression tests and adding about a cap or less oil onto the cylinder running less compression. how exactly do you do that? take the sparkplug out and add it in and run your compression test?
just take out the spark plug and drop a cap of oil down into the hole (assuming it's clean of dirt/debris)
but adding oil will skew your compression results.
you warm your car up and check all cylinders.
if you have any that are abnormally low you add oil to problematic cly(s) to determine if the low compression is from ring wear or other internal problems.
