I've researched and researched and I cannot find what this is exactly called but I'm sending my head out to hot tank and this little heater hose that goes to the head is jimmy rigged so I want to order new one but I don't know what it is called.

It is circled in red.
On another note, I finally found my source of misfireing. I checked this cylinder on a compression test and it had zero. This is why, notice the holes.

First off, get some of this stuff.
What you have circled isn't a hose, it's a plug, I think it's the oil pressure switch that's normally under the dizzy?

Yeah man I'm hoping it runs alot better, it is getting hot tanked/milled. Replacing all new valves, seals, and gaskets. After this runs for a while it will be an engine swap so. I <3 my EF so I can't just see it go away because of this. Only has 148k so.
yea that thing circled in red is the wire for you temperature sending unit for your guage....there is a heater hose that is near there, it goes from the head to the heater control valve, but what is circled def isn't a hose

cool. way to take care of the EF.
just make sure you get TDC in cylinder #1 right when you put her back together. have someone experienced help, if possible. i screwed it up on my old integra and the engine was shot and i wasted all my time and money... i was a super noob and i wasn't on honda-tech back then (was anyone?)

Well lucky me I have a certified honda tech that is working side by side with me helping me so I learn my stuff. It is awesome experience
Unless you are attempting to circle the heater hose behind it which can become a resident of hack city when being removed from a 16+ year old vehicle, in which case your tech. recommended replacement I would and get a factory honda clamp. You could put your freshly rebuilt dual point head on only to overheat because of the leaking heater hose. I also have to give you props for ripping that head off your self.

The assistance of the honda tech there was nice because If I had any questions he answered them and showed me what to do. Its a learning experience
Holy **** man. If your valve is that messed up on that cylinder, I can't imagine that the rings are in great shape either, but ya never know. Just something to think about. How many miles are on this engine?
