Default whats a good turbo piston???

i am thinking about rebuilding my ls bottom end so i can drop the compression lower for more boost

whats a good pistons and how much boost could i run ????

stock piston, and 800psi.

question is TOO generic.

research the differant pistons avail for the LS, then choose one thats right for your budget, and goals. almost all forged pistons will withstand 500hp if properly tuned.

I like CP, JE/SRP, nothing wrong with any company so long as you tune the car correctly in the end and use common sense.

And as long as the pistons are forged, everyone else will get into how certain pistons expand at a different rate, but that really only effects your ring gaps.

Any low comp, forged piston would work for you. Again, what are you looking for, lol.

i really dont like the je/srp style..wiseco pistons are real good.
but do your research 1st,,get a plan and set some goals before you do ****.

haha yup. Well we use Arias pistons on all our engine builds and of course our own personal race cars. We're on off the shelf pistons and they hold up to turbo street cars in the 10s.
