Default wiper switch problem

my intermittant wiper doesnt work, it works on high and low. i had like 10 different wiper switches off dx ex lx civic, but all of the wiper switchs do the same thing. so im guessing its not the switch. i was searchin but there wasnt much input on this situation. one guy said he had a hanging wire under the steering column, he grounded it and workjed fine. i looked at mine and found no loose wires or anything. i need some help, thanks

Yes, unbolt the two 10mm nuts holding in the fusebox, and it's the rectangular grey (or white)box. I have a VX also, and upgraded to intermittent wipers. Really easy to install.

You need the ICU (Integrated Control Unit) along with the switch from the donor car.

you don't have to unbolt anything, it clips into the back of the fuse panel... rectangular, either white, grey or black...

Unless you're Mr. Fantastic, you'll need to unbolt the metal piece above the driver's legs and the fusebox to get to the ICU.

It's on the backside of the fuse panel and just clips in. I've removed mine without unbolting anything.
edit:
look, clickypow of ICU.... with nothing removed. Unless you're an 800lb gorilla, you shouldn't have any problems...
