o2 question regaurding vx and ex

i was wondering if a vx o2 will work just fine on my ex engine ? since they both are 4 wire and obd1 also..

VX = 5-wire O2 sensor
EX = 4-wire O2 sensor
CX = 1-wire O2 sensor
