Default VX wideband o2????

Could you use the VX 5 wire o2 as a A/F gauge only o2. Meaning, having the VX o2 hooked to only the A/F. Colors on the o2 are white, black, yellow, red, orange. What would go to what?? Just an idea. Nothing came up on a search.

NO. The stock ECU actually controls the operation of the VX O2, where as standard 4-wire O2's just simply output a voltage.

I beleive you can use the vx 02 as a replacement o2 for wideband use, you do need to build a controller however. Go over to hondatas site and go into the fourms, theres some posts about the diy wideband.
