Default Alternative gauge cluster lighting?

I installed a older jdm cluster today, and the bulbs are good but i think the cluster has a couple dead spots. ( has 325000 kms on it) what else could i rig up to like a switch that would work well, anyone ever had to do something like that

i know a lot of ppl put white or different colors LEDs shining at the cluster on that ridge in front of the cluster. they wire them to one of the wires thats only hot when the car is turned on, your choice.

i think thats what youre talking about.

Replace the bulbs in the back. A few might be burnt out.

If the bulbs are fine, how would it have "dead spots"?

k on the back of a cluster we have the copper layover, somehow i don't know. the copper looks good too me but is not turning the bulb on. make sense, i've tried it with the working bulbs in the non working spots and same results.
