Well i fixed all the vaccum hoses and clean my IACV and FITV...and I have my distributor turned forward all the way, the car runs fine when in gear, but at idle or neutral, the RPM stays at 2K steadily....should i retard the distributor timing to solve this issue?

 

Have you tried adjusting the idle screw on the side of the TB?

 

trie a different plug to the map sensor there should be two on the same side of the motor

 

Of course I saw this after I posted.....am in the same boat man. 92 Lude with a 99 H22 and same issue. adjuted throttle screw as well for mine, and no luck. Have you tried yet with any success?

 

Why is ur timing advanced so much? Try setting it to stock.

 

OK guys, i set the timing back a little bit and closed the idle screw one more turn....my idle is now at 1200-1300...i will try to adjust the IACV screw since i cleaned the IACV, to see if that is the problem...but so far, idle is 1200-1300 at idle, but once driving, it is fine
