help 95 lx not starting

Default help 95 lx not starting

when i am driving normaly and i turn on the heater, after a while the engine light comes on and the car stops, if that doesn't happen, when i turn the car off it does not start up for another 10 min. it keeps showing the engine, srs, oil, etc light and doesn't start, help advice on what could be wrong thanks

i did the check light test and the code came out to be 15 Ignition Output Signal missing or defective ignition output signal what does this mean and how can i fix it thanks

Ignition output signal; that's the ECU telling the ignitor to fire the coil. Check the circuit from the ECU to the ignitor, look for dirty/loose/corroded harness plugs, or maybe a wire rubbed it's insulation off & shorting. If that's no good, maybe your ignitor is bad.

Doesn't seem like it should be related to the heater...

When it doesn't start, does the starter crank OK?

it does crank the light come on and then it shuts down u can hear and crank noise, where are teh wires located that i should be looking at thanks

'95 wiring drawing will tell you the wire colors, but it's from ECU to ignitor (in distributor). Check the harness plugs at the distributor for loose wires. Then you'll need a good manual (Helm) for the location of other plugs. Seems to me it goes thru a big connector near the brake master cylinder, but I'm not real sure about that.
