Default structural integrity for brake rotors question

i am currently doing a itr brake setup on my 2000 ls. i am having the itr blanks re done 4*100. the question is the cnc machinest put it on cad the holes touch. There was the choice of 2 holes barely intersecting or have 3 good holes and 1 peanut shaped hole. I choose have ing 3 good and the peanut hole. Will this be a problem for me. I understand it is not the best and i plan to redo this within the next 6 months with redrilled prelude vtec 4 lugs so nothing touches. The car is entirely stock other than CAI and it will not be tracked. It will being running pbr ultimate pads. Will this be safe or am i totally screwed.

I did the same thing for my CRX for the back rotors. I drew it up in cad and had the 3 good holes and 1 intersecting cut out and have been driving on them for the past 4 years now.

if you are willing to pay somebody to have it CNC (= $$$) machined, why not take it further and have him bore out a few ITR rotors and have him do tophats as well.

Because 4 holes on CNC probably cost $20 when doing hats and rotors will cost more than the Wilwood kit would cost, anyway.

I didn't have mine CNC'd I just had it done at a machine shop on a round/degree table on a mill. Once you cad it out it really isn't that difficult.

I did mine with a hand drill by printing off a diagram that had the original holes and center marks for the new holes, which I just center punched.

Who cares if the holes are perfect...no one see's them. The rotor is centered by the hub, not the studs, and alot of cars come with holes much larger than the studs from the factory.

I have an extra set of these rotors for anyone else wanting to do the upgrade, brembo rotors slotted and drilled for 4 x 100mm. they have like 1000km on them.

http://www.fastbrakes.com sells these rotors for pretty cheap... They even have 2 piece rotors... get that instead of paying to get them machined.
