Default What part is this? (under map on gsr)

Like the title says. What is this called? it goes under the map on gsr manifold this is what the car is doing.. when this part is on. when i take this part off it runs fine untill i get on it real hard then it throws abunch of codes

That would be a missing link. I'm guessing your car is/was turbo'ed.

Remove it, make sure all your vacuum lines are hooked up CORRECTLY, and make sure your ecu is running a stock program, or at least an N/A program. If you're still throwing map codes, then your sensor might be FUBAR.

I have already changed that sensor still does the same thing.

What exactly are you doing? What ecu are you running? If your still turboed and running a FMU youll be throwing a code without that on there.

Edit: Went through your thread you posted, sounds like your map and TPS are mixed up.

i was wrong the check engine light only comes on when i would tap the gas a bunch of times then pop its on

That is a MAP bypass block its function is to bypass any boost pressure to reach the MAP sensor. Remove that check your vacumn lines should run fine if not i would probably switch TB's see if that will cure it

im gettin tps map and fuel system supply thats the codes its throwin only after bein on the highway and gettin into city drivin

If you removed the missing link and are still turbo'd you will throw a code when the map sees boost.
