ok with my speedo cable i go to put it in the tranny half, how do i know that its properly seated in the hole????

 

if you can pull it out fairly easy then its not in right but if you need to tug on it then its fine and did you replace the little c-clamp??

 

I dont know what the c clamp is haha, i bought the car and the cable was unplugged when i got it so i never messed with it, i purchased a b16 and changed it from elec vss to cable vss now i just need to know how to put it in the hole

 

you can just twist it around until you feel it drop down. there's a little C clip that holds it in that will only clip on once it's properly seated. if you didn't get the C clip, you'll have to get creative.
