Default Help Oil on top of all my pistons.

freshly build motor. wiseco pistons and eagle rods. new head and seals.

i have a thin film of oil on all the pistons. and im out of ideas as to how it got there.

i know ur gonna say its something to do with the rings.
everything is matched to wiseco specs. the bore and and pistons to cylinder wall clearance. weve measured everything twice and its all good
the rings are clock to wiseco recommendation.
the head has brand new valve stem seals in them. we check the actual valve stem and they are all dry.

the motor has only idle for 20minutes max. has not been driven on the road.

Its not broken in yet. Even on a very well built motor for the first minutes of running you will see some oil in places that would indicate trouble if it continued, break it in and check again.

if u do infact break it it, dont do it just on a dyno....do that and keep it @ a constant rpm and not under load (ex: cornering and lateral accel/decel load) it wont be as good. its best if u can to take it to the track on a track day or like a baseball stadium parking lot or empty lot/area and do partial/initial break-in there varying rpm.....sometimes hard thru cornering to put cornering load on it even more.

this isnt saying breakin-in is the problem, just saying for break-in pursposes.
