help finding thread: 96-98 Civic climate control swapped for 99-00 climate control

I know that this is not a simple swap as the 96-98 climate control is mechanical and the 99-00 is not, but I saw a thread a long time ago that showed how to do the swap.

I would like to know again how to do it as I have a 96 hatch and an '00 climate control sitting spare.

You need to remove the dash and replace the heating core then install the heater control.
