Default running check engine

i need some help im starting to get pissed off bc today i was driving home from my friends house and all of the sudden my check engine came on....idk why, all i know is i put some regular gas instead of super a couple hours before that...can that be the reason or no? its a 2000 integra gsr

tighten your gas cap. If it isn't on all of the way vapor will escape and one of the emissions systems will cause a cel. Or go to autozone and have them scan it for you.

just reset the ecu and see if the mil comes back on.

Maybe you should relax a bit and dont post 3 times from 2-9am expecting somebody to help asap when its 5am. Sticky post at the top of the forum shows how to check your CEL....that way you'll know wtf is wrong with it vs guessing.

im guessing he doesn't have an ob2 scanner, or doesn't know he can drive to a parts store and have it scanned.

edit: new jersey sucks when it comes to gas because they wont let you pump your own some d00che bag put regular in my gsr one time when i was down there

You don't need a scaner, just a piece of 18g wire or a paperclip!
