Default Changed Battery....Now check engine light is on

just as the topic says. i just changed my battery yesterday, now the check engine light is on. does anyone have any idea why it is on and solution to the problems. thanks...

what year what model?

It could be that you crossed the lines quickly (although generally you'll blow the main fuse if you do that)...

My brother's odyssey did the same thing (tripped cel) when I jumped his car.

hi. i don't really know what code it's throwing out. the car is a 2000 Civic Si (EM1). let me know what is wrong and what i could do about it. thanks again...

sure ill just pull it outa my *** and tell you how to fix something that u dont explain what is wrong with it. ********. and to help you...use the directions to pull the cel and then tell us what it is and we will give u a solution to ur problem...but we dont have magical asses to just do anything.

unplug the o2 sensor and plug it back in and see if it goes off

hi. sorry for not giving you codes. i'm goin to do that after work. but there was no need to be rude. i'll admit i don't know as much as most of you guys do. it just came on when i changed my battery and i drove for a day. i was just wondering if anyone else had the problem. also, sorry for asking solutions without giving codes. thanks again for all your suggestions...

pull the ecu fuse under the hood for about 15min and it should reset the ecu and the code
