I was driving in heavy rain and all of a sudden my car cut out, I had no throttle. and the check engine light came on.
I was then able to start it again and drive for about a mile when it hapend again. but this time it wouldnt start back up. I plugged in my laptop and found code 15. Ignition Output Signal missing or defective ignition output signal what could be causing this???
I am not getting any fuel or spark, and I also checked all the fuses under hood and dash.
any ideas.
this is in an 96 EK converted to obd1 with hondata s300

Sounds like you need a new Ignition control module or a new distributor.

 

I was thinking the same thing. but would the bad igniter in the distributer cause the injectors not to spray too? as I said Im not getting fuel or spark, but my fuel pump is turning on.
