Default Throwing code 19: Need tech advise

So my wifes friends 94 Civic DX automatic won't start and I looking for the cause. From what I could tell the fuel pump is good but I may not be getting spark. We changed the ignitor chip and still not starting. So I went to check the ECU for codes and I'm getting a Code 19: Automatic tranny lockup solenoid. Went through all the checks and it seems good besides the high resistance. My question is can a bad solenoid stop the car from starting up or am I looking at possibly a few more problems.

Ignore code 19 for now.

Do you hear the fuel pump prime for 2 seconds in the rear when the key is turned to ON(II)?

No spark -- Here's how to test the coil in the distributor:

Yes, there is fuel.
Tested the ignition coil and got 1.1 ohms between the A/B and 15.7K ohms between A/secondary terminal. You think the coil is bad?
Looking for other suggestions as well.
