Default CRX looking for suspension

crx 91 hf and i am looking for a set of lowering springs shocks and struts....

i def do not want coilovers... i am looking for drop around 2" but at the same time i would like a set of chocks and struts that will hold up to the drop... the car is driven only on nice days during summer and is put away for winter at the moment. i would still like a comfortable ride and still be able to launch if the time comes when i need to.. hahaha

opions...on what brand shock and spring that could create this perfect universe

searched a little ... no comparisons or flat out lowering springs i was looking for...

We just had a similar thread on this not more than two days ago. Please do a search, just to get some ideas, then you can even IM people on their set-ups to get direct info.

And just to be nice, I'll throw in my two cents - Koni Sports, adjustable, great shocks, lifetime warranty, Eibach springs, either sport or pro, also lifetime waranty.

another strong vouch for eibach prokits and illuminas. its a great combination for street performance. the shocks can also be good with ground controls.

but if you wish to drop low, then get eibach sportlines. just dont expect as nice of a ride as youre going to get with prokits. nor even better performance....

just wondering one thing....

you said...<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by rewerbcrx &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">crx 91 hf and i am looking for a set of lowering springs shocks and struts....

</TD></TR></TABLE>

how hard does an hf launch? or is it not stock. just curious, not trying to be an asshat or anything. i once heard an hf couldnt pull a greased string out a cats ***, thats all im saying. thanks.

to add something useful, i have heard many good things about eibach and koni and tokico. i am doing the eibach sportlines and koni sports here this winter

you brought back this thread because you thought that i "launch" a hf hard,

well i wasn't looking for drag springs, or for racing i was looking for comfort and ride stability being lower center of gravity.

im not sure about this, but Goldline is a real good brand and very comfortable when it comes to aftermarket suspension, I had shocks, struts, springs and tie rods on my 95 accord, lowred 3 inches, and well it handled very well , looked nice, wasnt springy, and wow was it a comfortable ride. But i dont know if goldline has any for a CRX, but they are a good brand to look at.
