anybody ever had any bad experiance with the CM lightweight flywheels? please post them... i really would like to know if i made a "wise" purchase..

I've heard stories... In most cases, the problem sounds like an installation one... not a product flaw.

I'm happy with mine...

 

yeah there shouldnt be any issues on them other than intallation mistakes. the CM flywheels are great.

Get a ring gear holder if you can. It's a bitch to torque down the flywheel bolts otherwise.

 

Lots of loctite on the bolts... thats all I have to say.

it was a PITA to do my clutchnet. no ring gear holder. got it in tho.
and i would DEFINATLEY reccomend loctite. i didnt use any (ran out) so far its been perfect, my friend had a flywheel bolt come off and eat his entire clutch assembly.
it was bad but really damn cool.
