Default Steady blinking key light... Immobilizer problem?

My car is having issues again this winter of not starting and I think it may be the immobilizer. The car cranks over but doesn't fire. Sometimes I could just uplug the batt and when I plugged it back it in would fire right up. I thought maybe is was an issue with a relay (which I have replaced).

I noticed today when trying to start the car that the green key icon flashes. Is this indicating an immobilizer problem?

So I tired it a few times with no luck and even tried the valet key.

I made this post and went to lock up the garage and I figured I'd try one more time. Fired right up.

What could cause this?
