Default first vitara setup?

This might have been done before, so delete it if it has, but me and a friend were discussing this and I thought this would be a good place to ask. There was a thread about the first LS/VTEC ever done, so tell me, who was the first person to ever try a d-series vitara piston setup?

Someone in Puerto Rico. FJT I believe was the one that brought it to our attention on HT. If he wasn't... he was at least the conduit for many of us early adopters that bought pistons/rings through him.

Thanks again FJT

18k+ miles and counting... and still sounds like a diesel.
