Default what are your experiences with wiesco/arias pistons?

building a Ls/Vtec motor and Found some prety good deals on both Arias and weisco pistons.
This is a semi budget build soo im looking for good numbers with some cash left in the wallet, If anyone knows of any shortcommings of either of these products please let me kno.

You should search first!!!


I give to arias!!

Mine survived a cracked sleeve to be used again in my current motor.

From what I've read, they run one of the closest piston to wall clearances which is good!!

i like wiseco, my last setup using arias had piston slap like a ****... coulda been the engine builders fault who knows but the wiseco have no slap

I use Wiseco for my boosted LS/V-T and havent had any problems

i bought eagle rods/wiesco piston setup from http://www.nolimitmotorsports.com in new york. i have had this setup for about 5000 miles (hard miles also) with no problems at all.

wiesco ftw!!!!

No experience with Arias. I have had experience with Wiseco though. No problems. Vince Tiaga / Mazda 3 Racer swears by Arias though

damn thanks guys. how bout cp pistons? thats what most my buddys rock, little pricer that the others but NEVER any problems from what Ive seen.

Using Arias w 450 whp. No problems. Heard that rings were propriatary. Only Arias rings can be used with their pistons?

wel they come with the rings soo i dont think that would be a problem, thanks any more experiences
