im trying to rebuild my motor or replace it but im thinking im going to go with rebuilding. im no guru so im going to leave it to the experts to do it for me this time. the shop i normally went to thinks my father nd i are idiots. they tried charging us 8k for a replacement motor.. hahaha. and they tried telling us it'd cost around 2500 to fix the motor alone. what a joke. so im done with them now. i found this shop online and by a miracle of God himself it's local. has anyone heard of US Engines Inc? usengine.us. or has anyone had past experiences with them? from reading their site it seems like they know what they're doing. and they offer a 8 yr / 80,000 mile warranty for their rebuilds so im pretty sure they're confident in their work. any takers? thanks.
