Code 3 Map Sensor Car Idles at 4,000 RPM
Hey just finnishing work on my friend's 1998 Integra, a 1996 JDM B20B CRV Engine was swapped in and all wired up. Now the car is now running an OBD1 ECU with a jumper harness and I get one code which is 3 for the Map Sensor. The car when trying to start has a hard time firing up as if its not getting the right ammount of fuel or air, but then it starts, it sputter and chokes a little at low rpm and then rises to idle at 4,000-4,200RPM? I tried changing the MAP sensor and it still occurs even after the change and resetting the ECU. I'm starting to get frustrated and was wondering if anyone had any ideas? This car used to have a B20B with SIR Head and used to have a Apex'i VAFC installed. I haven't touched any of the previous wiring and used a new harness but the Apexi wiring is still before the ecu.
Should I wire the map directly to the jumper harness?

You have changed the MAP sensor, and you are already getting frustrated?
The map sensor is only 3 wires. Trace them back to the ECU and make sure they are hooked up correctly. A Helms manual will help greatly with this.

I tried changing them around and its donig the same thing? Is it possible I have a vacuum line plugged into the wrong spot?
It has a hard time starting like its not getting any air.
