Default Injector Resistor Box?

I've searched and only found threads about buying and selling these boxes.

Will any '88-'91 Civic injector resistor box work for DSM 450s or any high impedance, Peak and Hold injector?

ohm the injectors, if they are 2-3 ohms you need an 88-91 civic resistor box. if they ohm 12-12 ohms you dont.

but if they are dsm's, you will need a resistor box. and yes a 88-91 si box will work. ps, i am running RC 1200's p&h with an ef resistor box.

So only the '88-'91 Si box will work?

try searching again, and this time pick the turbo forum, that should get rid of all the classifieds for ya. I don't know the answer, i feel like there are others that work though.

any 10watt 10ohm resistor will work. so if you have a resistor box that is 10 ohm, as long as it can disspiate the heat you are fine.

so the resistor box is just for neatness? I've got 100+ 10ohm resistors....it's OV!

the 10w 10ohm resistors i was gonna use were lke 1/4" square and like 1 1/4 long and i dont think they would look right soldered in liine to my injectors. and i have my resistorbox hidden, so for clenliness,i think they are better.

The ones I have are cylindrical and pretty small. Nothin' a little shrink wrap can't fix!

The resistor boxes have a heat sink.Small resistors with shrink wrap sounds like the wrong direction.

Why is that the wrong direction? 10ohm resistors aren't going to dissipate that much heat. The reason the resistor boxes have a heat sink is probably b/c the resistors are in close proximity, meaning more heat.
