5th gen V2 or cold air ?

i believe this link says cold air but if you download the instructions its a short ram?
don't get a cold air get the short ram or the v2, your much safer with the short or the v2, in honda's engins its actually better to get the short then the cold, do a search cause i found a thread on here that someone tested the difference between cold and short and the short produced better numbers

they haven't made a v2 cold air yet. as far as im concerned. they just have the normal v1 cai and v2 is only sri. i have a v2 in my 5th gen. im happy with it. vtak sounds beastly with it. can't wait to get my ws2 in. yeah go with the V2. but if you do get the v1 cai for the lude. BE SURE TO BUY A BYPASS VALVE. that'll prevent water from getting into your engine.. and if that happens. oh shiet too bad for you.. yeah this bypass valve pretty much guarentees it. i mean.. if the creator was willing to test it on his own car! then you just know this stuff works. and i mean they submerged the filter into water and it didn't hydrolock. i believe he owns a nsx?
good stuff.
good stuff.
i think that the v2 is highly overpriced...most people on here will tell you to get a ebay intake and a k&n filter...granted that the vtec might sound better with the v2 but u save some $$$ with the ebay pipes+k&n filter
ok..im gonna say the same thing..aem's are nice but OVERPRICED...everyone (including the shitty chinese companies) have caught on to their "designs"...aka buy a 3inch pipe, bpi flowstack, and a 6" k&n filter..total cost=no more than a buck fiddy

Excellent advice. I personally went with an Iceman. Metal conducts heat...

so does plastic???? maybe you meant that metal conducts heat better than plastic? i mean we all know why there are metal racing radiators and not plastic right?

I am pretty sure that a plastic radiator would melt!

Radiators do have plastic endtanks and Ford has plastic intake manifolds.

yeah i was just really wondering why you put "metal conducts heat...."
because that really doesn't mean much. yeah i've heard some good things about iceman intakes but the difference between a metal / plastic intake, i'm sure is negliable. and as hawk pointed out, parts of our stock radiators are made of plastic. good plastic doesn't melt at most engine operating temps. take the sparkplug cover, thats plastic too.
