E85 is the shlt, C16 can go down the drain
lol, i have a VW 1.8T but it shouldn't be too diff..
Heres my pump gas log
notice the timing pull on my total timing
Heres the E85 log with timing increased
Car pulls hard now, i love it. For 2 bucks a gallon i will run it daily

is E85 really cheaper? Since stoichiometric is like half of what gasoline is. You have to supply almost double the E85 compared to regular gasoline? Ive seen it make ras gas numbers in tuning. Good stuff if done right. Im just wondering how economical it really is when it comes down to dollars.

when i switched over from 100 octane (pump gas in vegas) we only had to add ~26-30% fuel throughout the whole map.
e85 is normally ~$0.10-$0.20 cheaper the the lowest octane.
to me it is worth it, since 100 octane was $5 a gallon.
we need a E85 thread to help squash all the rumors, and stop the same questions from being asked over and over.

All i did was fill up woth E80 on a emtpy tank.. Didn't touch my fuel system and my a/f ratios stayed the same... Maybe its the VW ECU corrtecting everything lol... But i love it so far

Woah, that is not natural
30% is a typical increase to reach the same area of lambda values. Did it take a wile to start running right i.e. was the ecu learning for a while, or did the car start right up and run great?

stoich on gasoline is not stoich on meth. Meth is lower. you will have to alter your fuel maps to get a lower A/F ratio.

i was telling some ******* on here that e85 is the *****...but no..they didnt listen. its 111 octane and is better for the enviornment...it will eventually neutralize carbon dioxide in the atmosphere due to the fact that t is 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline. ethanol is made from corn, rice or whatever and it takes carbon dioxide to grow corn, cars burn these gases and create carbon dioxide so if everybody in the whole world the green house effect would go to crap. btw...it gives you worst gas mileage btw again...its cheaper.

Plus i didn't buld my car for gas milage lol, i would of bought a geo.... We'll see how it like 500whp, i think im going to need bigger injectors, anyone make 1000 high imped... My stupid car can only run high imped... Right now i have 750's

a friend maxxed out a walbro and 1000cc's at 458 uncorrected.

That's right, and the o2 sensor doesn't read a/f ratio, it reads lambda. The display on your wideband just converts it over to the a/f ratio numbers for the fuel you're using.

Yep On my logs i get all lamda, around .805 full boost so im happy...
