tranny B16

my tranny keep poping out of 5th gear but every other gear is ok only 5th i dunno if i need tranny oil or what? any help

Does it grind at all going into 5th? Maybe its a problem with your shift linkage. Do you have ajustable linkage or cut and rewelded linkage

not tryin to jinks you, but right before my tranny gave out it was doing that. sorry im not very helpfull.

It could be that your shift linkage is misaligned or your shift forks are going bad. I'm not sure though....just tryna remember what I learned. GL wif it.

the shift link is cut and rewelded and it dont grind on the way in im not sure what it is cuz the car still drives good.... how would i realigne the shift link ?
