Did you replace the pads too?

did you properly break in the pads? new ones tend to squeak if you dont.

theres also lubricant you can put on it to stop it.

Is the bearing still good? It'll usually make a scratching metal sound when it goes bad.

I gave the brakes at least a good 500 mile break in and yes the bearing is still good but it sound like something is rubbing but at certain times it goes away and sometimes it gets really loud.

Did you put the lube on the back of the pads?

Check the dust shields. Sometimes they'll touch the rotors, and usually the bottom portion.

I don't always put the lube on my pads either, but sometimes it just happens.

happened to me when i replaced my front hub (wheel bearing went out and i got a hook up on a complete gsr brake conversion)

i guess i bent the dust shield and it was rubbing on the rotor. just bend it back a little and see if the noise goes away
