Default Vacuum guage sluggish? GSr tb

I have a bone stock d16z6 with t3 turbo, 2.5" exhaust and charge piping, running uberdata at 11 psi.
I just recentey installed a GSR tb and at lower rpms, when i stomp on the gas, it takes a while for the boost guage to show 0. Could installign a larger tb cause the vacuum guage to be not as responsive as before or is my tb not opening all the way?
